The Office of Diversity and Inclusion has been part of the University of Maryland for over thirty years. We advise the Office of the President on the promotion of the University's mission as it relates to equity, compliance, and diversity education. Additionally, we facilitate partnership building among staff, faculty, and students. Our goal is to develop and implement programs that improve the morale of, provide meaningful information to, and enhance the skill sets of all member to our Staff community. ODI's Staff programs are designed to enrich the quality of personal, academic, and professional life for Staff across campus. It is our hope that these programs will become a forum through which all non-exempt staff are motivated to learn and grow in a variety of new and exciting ways.
